I don’t know if this is still a concern, but I keep seeing posts from about a week ago that AO3 has temporarily paused generating tokens for new accounts. I’ve got at least 7-8 just sitting in my queue, so if you need one please let me know.
My fannish hindbrain is insisting the best way to pass the 11-ish days until lGO is not to rewatch the original show, or press on with the books, or listen to the radio version, but to rewatch Doctor Who. I can’t speak for Alexandria, but medieval monastic libraries are full of accounts about lactating men. If it had been literature and not devotional literature it would have been a damned trope. Whatever your gripes about fanfic, I guarantee you the medieval and classical authors did it weirder.
